🦓 Game Safari in Akagera National Park – The Ultimate Rwanda Wildlife Adventure
🌍 Introduction
Akagera National Park, located in eastern Rwanda along the border with Tanzania, is a hidden gem for African safaris. Known for its breathtaking savannah landscapes, scenic lakes, and diverse wildlife, Akagera offers one of the most authentic game-drive experiences in East Africa — all within just a few hours’ drive from Kigali.
Spanning over 1,120 square kilometers, the park is Rwanda’s only savannah park and home to the famous “Big Five” — lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo — alongside hundreds of other species, including giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and over 500 bird species.
